Job Descriptions

  • Execute inventory operations to ensure inventory is planned at optimal level to meet target turns, working capital performance and revenue growth
  • Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
  • Support the implementation of inventory management strategies, guidelines and processes to ensure inventory is planned at optimal level to meet target turns
  • Prepare documentation and various ad hoc reports for detailed demand and supply processes
  • Coordinate the procurement and replenishment processes to ensure available stock is allocated to each warehouse based on agreed service levels
  • Coordinate with warehouse team for all system updates including goods receiving, stock adjustment, market return or other warehouse activities in material requirements planning (MRP) system
  • Conduct daily stock investigations including stock adjustments, stock variance queries; report any issues arising
  • Gather data/information from relevant functions and perform detailed analysis on inventory KPIs
  • Suggest any possible improvements or process enhancements within the area of responsibility
  • Build and maintain good relationships with internal team on inventory operations

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/certificate in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
  • Minimum one to two years’ experience in similar role
  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of inventory planning methodologies and systems
  • Demonstrate basic understanding of distribution centers, distribution and transport
  • Proven experience in inventory management , procurement systems and logistics operations
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of SAP – material requirements planning (MRP) system
  • Proven experience in the consumer goods, healthcare and pharmaceutical industries
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities especially in international/cross-cultural interactions
  • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
