Position Objective: Manage and monitor the daily sales activities at branch and/or area level, coach and train the sales force and bank staff. Be responsible of team assigned business targets and ensure the professionalism and sales quality in the assigned branches/areas are met.

Job Description

Sales management responsibilities
Department / Functional Area: Partnership Distribution Department/Bancassurance

  • Reports to: Business Development Assistant Director
  • Position Objective: Manage and monitor the daily sales activities at branch and/or area level, coach and train the sales force and bank staff. Be responsible of team assigned business targets and ensure the professionalism and sales quality in the assigned branches/areas are met.
  • Act as an escalation contact point to the assigned branches/areas
  • Manage a team of Insurance Specialists in the assigned areas on daily basis to ensure the assigned business targets achieved
  • Be responsible of overall production, productivity, coaching and development of Insurance Specialists in the assigned areas. Proactively look at the neglected areas of the team and provide improvements accordingly
  • Be responsible to handle customer complaints if possible or be the key contact point for any customer feedback/complaints towards the company or the business partners

Relationship management

  • Build up closely relationship at the bank branches/areas levels to ensure the business results are developed
  • Build up good cooperation with internal departments and within PD&CS
  • Training activities
  • Be responsible of delivering soft skill and techniques of sales cycle in order to improve the quality and professionalism of sales staffs
  • Be able to conduct/organize sales seminars, group presentation, customer events

Activity management

  • Responsible for planning and executing branch based customer activities to generate referrals and leads
  • Plan business activity calendar with Branch Manager and ensure smooth execution
  • Support ‘Pilot’ initiatives undertaken by the Bancassurance Function to explore new opportunities of business and help drive these initiatives to write business

Financial and Non-Financial Measures:

  • VoNB and ANP
  • Persistency
  • Branch Coverage

Sales person productivity

  • Communication Requirements

Internal:

  • Within PDD and other internal functions/departments

External:

  • Branch management/area management/partner bancassurance team
  • Bank staff

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree
  • 2 years experience in bancassurance and/or banking
  • At least 2 years of people management experience and direct sales
  • MS Office
  • English (written, spoken) will be preferable
