Job Descriptions

  • Support Vietnam CEO on developing and implementing effective growth and operations strategies for Vietnam.
  • Provide effective supports to other business leaders to help them achieve their business growth plans and commercial targets including providing advice & industry information to the various businesses in the areas of customers, competitors, regulatory environment, strategies and tactics.
  • Strengthen and promote networking between business leaders by identifying cross business opportunities and drive cross business sharing of information on strategic customers and projects.
  • Develop new business opportunities/market for GE in Vietnam, including GE businesses that may not yet be present in Vietnam.
  • Support GE acquisition and be the Point Person for cross business integration and support, as needed.
  • Play active role in partnering with American businesses community in Vietnam including US ASEAN, the American Chamber of Commerce and the US Embassy, to maximize GE strategic positioning in Vietnam.
  • Promote and drive cross business engagements to strengthen GE’s commercial positioning across entire GE portfolio.
  • Enhancing GE brand and image in Vietnam

Job Requirements

  • Excellent government and corporate relationships
  • Successful operating track record in a business, commercial, intergovernmental position
  • Excellent marketing and selling skills and business acumen in sectors that GE operates.
  • Ability to conduct research, provide business recommendations internally within GE and to customer prospects.
  • Previous successful BD experience preferred.
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Possess strong GE values
  • Boundaryless (in this role, understanding that the businesses have the lead and the only objective is to help GE win)
  • Engineering and MBA degree preferred
  • Fluency in English and Vietnamese
  • Computer literacy
