Job Description

  • Receive purchasing requirements from all departments
  • Search suppliers for new items
  • Check orders (quantity & budget)
  • Compare and request the quotation
  • Negotiate for the best price
  • Make purchasing orders after confirmation and approval
  • Follow up the orders on the systems and vendors
  • Receive payment documents from Store Division (purchasing requirement, delivery note, text record (if any)
  • Check all required documents to make payment (payment request, invoice, purchasing requirement, purchasing order, quotation, delivery note and text record (if any)
  • Submit payment request to manager and transfer to Finance department
  • Update orders in excel file to control and record
  • Implement reports as requested by manager
  • Translate documents as requested by manager
  • Support HR/ GA Director in interpreting for important events, meetings and interviews
  • Line reporting: Purchasing Supervisor and HR Manager

Job Requirements

  • Experience is not required
  • Work 5 days/ week at E-Mart Head Office
  • Have bachelor degree in Business Administration and related field
  • Working experience in Hypermarket and Retail industry is a bonus
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Foreign language: good communication in Korean
