Job Description

Job Purpose

  • The assessment the claim documents based on claim request of the claimant

Accountability

  • To make decision on the claim cases are quickly and exactly

Key responsibilities

  • Review, analysis and make decision on claims within own authority with Productivity/Efficiency is at leat 95%
  • Meet the standard quality scored by Quality team and Control error rate within own rate (Ex: 0.5% vs job grade 3B)
  • Sign-off person and mentor role: Countersign for claim assessor, trainee claim assessor within own authority and on- the- job training new claim assesors and jet claim assessors
  • Support claim colleagues (investigators or administrators) in some certain situation (reading original medical record at the hospital, field assessment of disability, mentor for administrators…) and support underwriting section when increasing volume of new business (month-end, contest…),
  • Co-operate with claim investigator in claimant interview in some certain situation and to build up internal guideline
  • Others: to be assigned by the Line manager or Company’s management (if any)

Job Requirements

Qualification:

  • Mandatory: University/College graduated of Medical, pharmaceutical or economic
  • Advantage: medical knowledge

Experiences:

  • Mandatory: at least 2 years experience in the insurance industry, the hospitals
  • Advantage: work at the hospitals

Knowledge and skill set:

  • Mandatory:
    • English skills: at leat is reading, writing
    • Microsoft office: word, excel, powerpoint
    • Good communication skills, Problem solving skills, telephone skills
  • Advantage: knowledge of Medical and/or Life Insurance
