Job Descriptions

  • Helping the Vendor Acquisition Team expand their current pool of vendors
  • Pitching to vendors
  • Follow up on leads, call potential vendors to set appointments
  • Schedule meetings with potential vendors
  • Present SoNice Marketplace and convince sellers to start selling on our platform
  • Explain and negotiate contract terms and structure
  • Work with the rest of the sales team to get images and product descriptions of the vendors
  • Work with marketing to boost sales and suggest featured vendors or products
  • Engagement of on boarded vendors (regular visits to keep relationship, check inventory, motivate them to join promotions and campaigns)
  • Write catchy product titles and descriptions (seo optimized) that convert into sales
  • Report to the Head of Vendor Acquisition

Job Requirements

  • Full-time Internship for 3 months
  • 70% of time is “field work”
  • Monday to Friday: 8.30 – 12.00 / 13.30 – 18.00 alternate between being on the road and in office (At least 70% of the working time will be outside of the office)
  • Occasionally, the team is working on weekends to go to events and visit vendors
  • Strong communication & negotiation skills
  • Must speak good English language
  • Be able to work independently as well as team-working
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Highly organized and able to keep track of vendors progress
  • Enjoy meeting people and be comfortable with cold calling
  • Structured person focused on process, details, and quality
